On January 25, 2018, Nutter attorneys participated in the 19^th annual Walk to the Hill. This event brings together attorneys from all over the city to urge lawmakers to protect state funding for programs that provide civil legal aid to low-income Massachusetts residents. Nutter has participated in the Walk to the Hill since its inception.

Below, the captain of this year’s event, Associate Nick Stabile, elaborates on his experience leading Nutter lawyers to Beacon Hill for one of the largest lobbying days at the Massachusetts State House.

“This is the third year in which I’ve served as a captain for the Walk, and each year I continue to be impressed with the turnout and enthusiasm for the event (it seems like there is less and less standing room each year in the Hall of Flags for the keynote speakers).  The sight of hundreds of attorneys from all practice areas and all parts of greater Boston filling the State House is incredibly inspiring.  Events like this remind me of the human connections we all share and the spirit of justice that we all try to make a part of our careers.  I’m proud to have led the Nutter team for several years.” -- Nick Stabile, Associate, Private Client Department
