Eric Magnuson, a partner and co-chair of Nutter’s Business Litigation practice group, will speak on a panel that will address written motion practice at the Business Litigation Session (BLS) of the Suffolk Superior Court. Hosted by the Social Law Library, the panel, “Written Motion Practice at the BLS: A Deep Dive on Effective Techniques,” will provide a deep dive into a sea of issues surrounding BLS written advocacy, addressing the “nuts and bolts” of, and best practices for, routine and complex pretrial and other motions, including motions in limine, for discovery, to dismiss, for summary judgment and the statement of material facts, and more, while also revealing judicial preferences and pet peeves.
