Ian Roffman Presents at the FBA’s ‘Hot Topics in SEC Enforcement’
Print PDFIan Roffman, chair of Nutter’s Litigation Department and a partner in the firm’s Securities Enforcement and Litigation practice group, will serve as a panelist at the Federal Bar Association of Massachusetts’ (FBA) program “Hot Topics in SEC Enforcement” on September 22. Ian, a former Senior Trial Counsel in the SEC’s Boston office, will join John T. Dugan, Associate Regional Director of the SEC’s Boston Regional Office, on the panel discussing topics including insider trading, whistleblowers, cyber security, the Financial Fraud Task Force, and investment adviser issues. Often quoted about the SEC and corporate governance in numerous media outlets, Ian is a frequent speaker and lecturer before bar, industry, and academic organizations. He co-chairs the Financial Services Section of the Boston Bar Association, which oversees all programming relating to the banking, broker-dealer, investment advisors, insurance, and civil enforcement committees.
