Ian Roffman presents “Risk Management & In House Counsel” at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and the Boston University School of Management
Print PDFIan Roffman, partner in the firm’s Securities Enforcement and Government Investigations practice groups, presented at the “Risk Management & In House Counsel” education program at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and Boston University School of Management on October 1 to 3. Ian presented on Government Investigation Risk: Examining Internal and External Investigations. Topics included major governmental investigation risk areas, understanding the life cycle of a governmental investigation, strategies and approaches to internal and external investigations, and developing strong crisis management strategies.
The three day course was designed specifically for in-house counsel interested in gaining a greater understanding of risk management principles, measurement techniques, and practical application. In addition, the program cut across multiple industries and covered the fundamental risk management building blocks, including risk awareness, measurement, reporting and adequate policies, procedures, and controls.
