Ian Roffman presents on government investigation risks at ACC and Boston University’s executive education program
Print PDFIan Roffman, chair of the Litigation Department and a partner in the firm’s Securities Enforcement and Litigation practice group, presented at the “Risk Management & In-House Counsel” executive education program co-sponsored by the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and Boston University School of Management on September 29. Ian’s session “Government Investigation Risk: Examining Internal and External Investigations,” included a detailed case study from which participants could gain an understanding of the life cycle of a governmental investigation and develop strategies and approaches to internal and external investigations.
The three-day course was designed specifically for in-house counsel interested in gaining a greater understanding of risk management principles, measurement techniques, and practical applications. In addition, the program cut across multiple industries and covered the fundamental risk management building blocks, including risk awareness, measurement, reporting and adequate policies, procedures, and controls.
