Jeremy Halpern, a partner and co-chair of Nutter’s Emerging Companies Group, will serve as a moderator at the MassBio 2017 Annual Meeting in Cambridge, MA on March 30. The MassBio Annual Meeting gathers over 400 life sciences industry leaders to focus on the opportunities and challenges facing the Massachusetts life sciences industry. Jeremy will moderate the “What Does the NEW Valley of Death Look Like?” panel. The panel, comprised of leading health care executives, will focus on the challenges of getting early stage funding today and the “valley of death” in biotech.

• How is the diverse and fragmented funding environment making things harder or easier?
