Jeremy Halpern, co-chair of Nutter’s Emerging Companies Group and co-lead of the Food and Beverage group, will present “Raising Your First Round of Capital” at Branchfood’s “Fundraising for Early Stage Food Entrepreneurs” event. This conference will provide a thorough, in-depth understanding of fundraising for a food business and what it takes to raise capital from individuals and groups who seek to invest in promising food startups. The half-day workshop brings together leading food investors, entrepreneurs, industry experts, and knowledgeable service providers to discuss the building blocks needed to create multi-year financial projections as well as legal considerations, including forming an entity, equity sharing, drafting term sheets for investors, and more.
