Melissa Sampson McMorrow and Paul Ayoub Present at MCLE’s ‘17th Annual Nonprofit Law Conference 2016’
Print PDFMelissa Sampson McMorrow, chair of Nutter’s Tax Department and co-chair of Nutter Charitable Advisors, and Paul J. Ayoub, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Finance Department and a member of Nutter Charitable Advisors, served as faculty at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc.’s (MCLE) “17th Annual Nonprofit Law Conference 2016” on April 5. The event focused on bringing attendees up-to-date on the most important developments in the law of tax-exempt organizations during the past year and addressing the topics that will be relevant in the next one.
Melissa presented on the “Welcome and Year in Review” panel, which provided an overview of the most important legal developments for nonprofit organizations over the past year, including legislative updates. Paul, Chair of the Board of the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, presented “View from the Trenches,” in which he discussed his work for St. Jude as well as his perspectives on the evolution of the organization, corporate governance, and other notable initiatives by the organization. Nutter served as a sponsor of the networking breakfast reception that opened the event.
