Print PDFNutter hosted the Boston Philanthropic Advisors Roundtable (BPART) 5th Annual Luncheon “Beyond Grants: Using Program Related Investments (PRI) to Make an Impact” on October 24. Julia Satti Cosentino, manager of the Trusts and Estates Department and chair of the Nutter Charitable Advisors practice group, Melissa Sampson McMorrow, partner in the Tax Department and a member of Nutter Charitable Advisors, and Alane Wallis, Charitable Funds Manager, hosted 77 BPART members for a discussion that explored the benefits and challenges related to investments (PRIs), donors, private foundations, charities and social enterprises. The program was moderated by David Wood, Director, Initiative for Responsible Investment at the Hauser Center for Nonprofit Organizations, Harvard University and panelists included: Angela Brown, Director of Programs, The Hyams Foundation, Inc., Joseph Flatley, President, Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation and John McBrine, Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP.
