William J. Bernat, a partner in Nutter’s Business Department and a member of the firm's Emerging Companies practice group, will present at Georgetown University Law Center’s StartupHoyas’ “Advising Startups” event on October 24.

StartupHoyas is an initiative for Georgetown students interested in entrepreneurship. The panel discussion features a Q&A format and is intended to introduce students to advising emerging companies, with a focus on how lawyers build unique relationships with startups and offer business guidance in addition to legal services. Will will discuss formation, structuring investment, and the new crowdfunding rules. Nutter is serving as a sponsor of the event.
