Brian Lee, a partner in Nutter’s Litigation Department, is slated to speak at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) 2020 Environmental & Energy, Mass Torts, and Products Liability Litigation Committees’ Joint Regional CLE Program. During the presentation, “Alexa, Am I Liable? Products Liability Implications of Innovative Products,” Brian and the panelists will discuss how existing products liability laws apply to products of the 21^st century, including artificial intelligence, devices using the Internet of Things, drugs incorporating genetics/genomics, and personalized medicine. The panel will explore how these and other advances in technology give rise to new and complicated legal theories of liability and defenses.
