Nutter Attorneys Participate in the 24th Annual Talk to the Hill Event
Print PDFNutter attorneys will participate in the annual Talk to the Hill event on January 26, a virtual event to help fund civil legal aid in the FY24 Massachusetts state budget. Previously referred to as Walk to the Hill, this event now raises money through a virtual event with online speakers and breakout sessions with state legislators. Nick Stabile served as captain this year.
Organized by the Equal Justice Coalition, Talk to the Hill for Civil Legal Aid draws lawyers, law students, and advocates to support the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation (MLAC)’s budget request for civil legal aid funding. This funding is especially necessary due to the lasting economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nutter has supported Walk to the Hill since its inaugural year.
