Boston Irish Reporter Profiles Bill Kennedy’s Longtime Civic and Philanthropic Service

Kennedy, chair of Nutter’s Public Policy Group and a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Transactions Department, was recognized for his civic involvement by Boston Irish Honors, which celebrates Irish-American achievement in Massachusetts. The accompanying Boston Irish Reporter article, entitled, “Boston Irish Honors 2017 Exemplary Boston Irish Family: Nora, Annmarie, and Bill Kennedy” profiles Bill’s community and civic involvement, noting that Bill’s “philanthropic work for Catholic Charities, Project Bread, and a vast array of other community and educational efforts has marked his presence in the community. He is currently a trustee at Emmanuel College at St. John Paul II Catholic Academy and a former trustee at the University of Massachusetts. His numerous civic awards include recognition by the Children’s Trust Fund for his years of service, and by Holy Cross as the ‘Crusader of the Year.’ He was also named ‘Father of the Year’ by the American Diabetes Association.”
