Ian Roffman, chair of Nutter’s Litigation Department and a partner in the firm’s Securities Enforcement and Litigation Practice Group, commented on U.S. v. McLellan et al., a rare criminal trial against a financial executive, for Law360. In the article, “Massachusetts Cases to Watch in 2018,” Ian said, "Hidden fees have been an enforcement priority for a while, but this will be one of the first, and certainly one of the most high-profile, hidden fee cases to go to trial." Ian noted that the outcome of this case will be closely watched by many on Wall Street.
