Liza Cox Quoted on New Zoning for Senior Housing Project in The Bourne Enterprise
Print PDFLiza Cox, a partner in Nutter’s Real Estate Department and a member of the firm’s Development, Land Use and Permitting practice group, discussed a proposed zoning amendment to create a Senior Care Overlay District in Sagamore in The Bourne Enterprise. In the article, “New Zoning Proposed For New Assisted Living, Senior Housing In Sagamore,” Liza commented on the overlay district, which would house an assisted living facility, medical building, and senior housing. Liza pointed out that Bourne has a Water Resource Overlay District, a Sensitive Use Overlay District, and a Marine Center Overlay District. She noted that an important purpose of the Senior Care Overlay District would be “to allow the appropriate transition from commercial developments in B2 to nearby residences in R40."
