David Ferrera, a partner in Nutter’s Litigation Department and chair of the firm’s Product Liability practice group, commented on how an FDA effort to bring more AI-based medical devices to market could lead to product liability lawsuits if the technology changes the device after initial approval in Bloomberg Law.
