Nutter announced today that Heather Repicky and Thomas Rockwell have been elected as partners.

Heather Repicky is a member of the Litigation Department where she focuses her practice on intellectual property and complex commercial matters. She has a depth of knowledge in patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret issues facing companies both large and small, and has counseled clients in a broad range of industries including the medical device and high tech industries. Repicky has represented clients in significant litigation across the country, however, the District of Massachusetts is truly her home court. Several Fortune 500 companies have retained her as counsel for their litigation in Massachusetts because of her unique local experience and perspective. She holds a B.A. from the University of Richmond and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

A member of the Trusts and Estates Department, Thomas Rockwell primarily works with issues involving sophisticated estate planning, with a focus on minimizing estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes. In addition, Rockwell advises personal representatives and trustees in the areas of estate and trust administration and counsels clients on charitable planning and the creation and administration of charitable foundations. He also has experience in the probate court, successfully handling reformation cases, the preparation and allowance of complex and contested accounts and guardianship matters. Rockwell serves on the Board of Trustees of Heritage Museums and Gardens and the Board of Directors of the Estate Planning Council of Cape Cod and the Sandwich Legacy Foundation. He is also an active member of Cape Cod Young Professionals and is a leader of Sandwich Cub Scout Pack 46. He holds a B.S. from Boston University and a J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.
