Nutter was one of three firms in the city to raise over $19,000 for the 2011 Greater Boston Legal Services Associates Drive. Over 90% of the associates at Nutter participated in this year’s Drive, and the $19,662 donated by Nutter marks the largest-ever GBLS Associates Drive donation from a midsize firm. Nutter’s contribution helped GBLS raise more than $318,000 for the GBLS Family Law Unit, which is the first time the Associates Drive raised more than $300,000. The GBLS Family Law Unit provides a number of legal services to low-income individuals and families, including providing legal representation to domestic violence survivors in Boston to help them rebuild their lives in safety.
