Nutter recognized on Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Pro Bono Honor Roll
Print PDFNutter has been listed on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s (SJC) Pro Bono Honor Roll for 2013, honoring the firm’s commitment to pro bono. The firm received its certificate at The Adams Pro Bono Publico Awards Ceremony, which was held in the SJC courtroom at the John Adams Courthouse on October 21.
The Pro Bono Honor Roll, administered by the SJC’s Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services, each year honors those law firms, solo practitioners, in-house corporate counsel offices, government attorney offices, non-profit organizations, law school faculties, and law students which certify that they have met the program criteria:
1. That the pro bono legal services hours per attorney is at least fifty (50) or more than seventy-five percent (75%) of the Massachusetts Attorneys have provided at least twenty-five (25) pro bono hours;
2. That for purposes of attorney retention and promotion, time devoted to approved pro bono legal services is treated the same as time devoted to billable time or its equivalent.
