Paul Ayoub Acknowledged for Increasing Diversity of the Real Estate Finance Association’s Board in The Boston Globe
Print PDFPaul Ayoub, a member of Nutter’s Executive Committee and partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department and Nonprofit and Social Impact practice group, outlined how the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA) now has 19 women or people of color on its 37-member board, compared to six out of 30 in 2016, in The Boston Globe. In Jon Chesto's article, “Bold Types,” Paul, who just stepped down as board president of REFA, discussed how REFA board members intentionally broadened their outreach and recruitment efforts. "The result has been a much more robust discussion, a real sense of energy and forward movement. The key is not to look just in the room, but to look outside of the room. If you’re going to just look in the room [for board candidates], you’re going to see the same people,” said Paul.
