The Catholic Lawyers’ Guild of the Archdiocese of Boston Presents Bill Kennedy With the Honorable Joseph R. Nolan Award
Print PDFBill Kennedy, a partner in Nutter’s Corporate Department and chair of the Public Policy group, received the Honorable Joseph R. Nolan Award from the Catholic Lawyers’ Guild of the Archdiocese of Boston. Bill accepted the award at the annual Red Mass and Brunch on October 1, which was attended by more than 150 lawyers, judges, elected officials, and law students. Xavier L. Suarez, former Miami-Dade County Commissioner and former Mayor of Miami, delivered the keynote address.
Judge Joseph R. Nolan was an accomplished lawyer, esteemed jurist, noted author, learned professor, and dedicated family man who epitomized someone who lived his faith personally and professionally. The Catholic Lawyers’ Guild presents the Judge Nolan Award annually to a member of the legal profession who exemplifies Judge Nolan’s commitment to the law, devotion to his faith, dedication to family, and compassion for others.
