Mike Leard Appointed to the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Section Council
Print PDFMike Leard, a partner in Nutter’s Litigation Department, has been appointed to serve as a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s (MBA) Civil Litigation Section Council. The MBA’s section councils work to manage substantive issues and proposals affecting the practice of law across the Commonwealth. Mike’s term commenced on September 1.
MBA members keep current with developments in the law and expand contacts in the legal profession through participation in the MBA’s various sections. Sections typically develop more than 100 educational programs per year, monitor and develop legislation, propose legislative positions to the House of Delegates, and participate in the development of legal publications, articles, and special projects.
With this appointment, Mike will have served on MBA leadership for nearly a decade. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Division for many years. Mike also serves as a Trustee of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, the philanthropic partner of the MBA.
