The profile highlights Johanna’s career at Nutter, where she has practiced trusts and estates law for 17 years. She advises high net worth individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning, including estate tax audits, gift taxes, trust administration. and other issues. Johanna also assists private foundations with operation and compliance matters ranging from grantmaking to reporting processes.
“Working with people to navigate all of that in terms of the legal and the financial side of it, there is also just a real human element to it. You are with people through all of these different life events, the good and the bad,” Johanna said.
The profile also spotlights Johanna’s roles as co-chair of Nutter’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, contributor to the Estate Planning Councils of both Boston and Essex County, and a member of the board of the Center for Collaborative Education.
