Nutter Bolsters Private Client Department With Partner Susan von Herrmann

Based in Nutter’s San Francisco office, von Herrmann’s practice includes all aspects of sophisticated estate and related tax planning and estate and trust administration. She has extensive experience in devising strategies to minimize estate and gift tax liabilities, in charitable planned giving, and in planning for clients with cross-border interests. Von Herrmann joins Nutter from Perkins Coie, where she was a partner in the Trust & Estate Planning and Family Office Services practices.

She is active in numerous professional and civic organizations, including the American Bar Association, California Bar Association, San Francisco Bar Association, Hawaii Estate Planning Council, San Francisco Estate Planning Council (past board member), and the Boston Estate Planning Council. Von Herrmann earned her J.D. from Berkeley Law and her B.A. from Stanford University.
