Nutter congratulates its client, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, on the successful completion of the new, long-term ground lease of the site presently occupied by the Midtown Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.

The First Church of Christ, Scientist entered into a long-term ground lease with an affiliate of National Development for two parcels of land across Huntington Avenue from the Christian Science Plaza. With a total of approximately 62,400 square feet of land, these parcels offer a unique development opportunity within the City of Boston, as they are situated at the convergence of the Back Bay, South End, St. Botolph, and Fenway neighborhoods.

Nutter’s legal team for the Church was led by Beth Mitchell and included Rachel Kurlantzick, among others. Nutter’s Real Estate Department provides expertise, both nationally and regionally, on the wide range of legal challenges surrounding all types of real estate, including the most complex transactions and developments.
