Nutter Names Innovative Growth Strategist Alicia Mack as Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer

Nutter announced that Alicia K. Mack has joined the firm as its Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer. In this role, Mack will provide strategic direction and execution of business development and marketing initiatives for the firm.

“Alicia has an impressive track record in creating and implementing global growth strategies that broaden a firm’s thinking about what is relevant in enhancing the delivery of outstanding client service,” said Michael Scott, Co-Managing Partner of Nutter. “As the business of law becomes increasingly nuanced, Alicia’s contextual intelligence and specialized skillset will help drive critical initiatives to improve client engagement, build impactful campaigns that differentiate the brand, and fuel the firm’s expansion.”

Mack has nearly 25 years of experience helping attorneys identify client needs and challenges and developing and capitalizing opportunities from those assessments. Her background in developing disruptive business development initiatives and unique marketing strategies is grounded in an ability to create productive partnerships across the firm and in the market. At Nutter, she will work with the partners and key stakeholders on practice area and partner-specific business planning that effectively align with the firm’s strategic goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Nutter, Mack was Managing Director of Practice and Client Development at Goodwin. She held roles of increasing responsibility over her 17-year career at Goodwin, where she planned and implemented integrated growth plans globally, helped launch newly created practices, and led diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Mack began her career as an associate in the Corporate Department and the Private Equity/Emerging Companies Group at McDermott Will & Emery LLP in Boston.

Mack earned her B.A. from Franklin Pierce University and her J.D., summa cum laude, from New England Law School.
