Seth Berman, a partner in Nutter’s Litigation Department and leader of the firm’s Privacy and Data Security practice group, stated his predictions for the cybersecurity landscape in 2020 in Security Info Watch. In the article, “Experts weigh in on cybersecurity predictions for 2020,” Seth outlined key issues in cybersecurity in the upcoming year, including an increase in ransomware attacks against different entities in different forms. In addition, Seth said, “We will see California’s 2018 cyber privacy law finally go into effect, which gives California residents more control over their online data than any other consumers in the country.”
