Pat Concannon, a partner in Nutter’s Intellectual Property and Corporate and Transactions Departments, authored a chapter, “Congressional Response to the Internet,” in MCLE’s Data Security and Privacy in Massachusetts. Pat addressed the Communications Decency Act, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, and the CAN-SPAM Act. The book provides readers with a working familiarity with data security compliance, breach prevention, and the protection of privacy.
