Overview

Natalie M. Cappellazzo is an associate in Nutter’s Litigation Department and a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Litigation, Product Liability, and Business Litigation practice groups. Natalie advises clients in all stages of litigation, including initial fact investigation, discovery, deposition preparation, and motion practice.

Natalie advises employers on a broad range of labor and employment issues, including discrimination and termination claims, wage and hour laws, and the enforcement and interpretation of non-compete agreements. Clients also engage Natalie in product liability defense matters and complex commercial litigation.

Natalie is involved in the firm’s longstanding legacy of pro bono representation and commitment to civic and charitable engagement. Her pro bono activities include working to secure lawful permanent residency for a minor who was neglected and abandoned in his home country and fled to the United States after facing threats of gang violence. Natalie also serves as co-captain of the Greater Boston Legal Services Associate Fund Drive and served as co-captain of Nutter’s team in the annual Lawyers Have Heart 5k road race, benefiting the American Heart Association.

Previously, Natalie was a legal intern in the Public Integrity Division of the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General. Prior to law school, Natalie worked as a legal assistant at a law firm in Buffalo, NY, where she conducted real estate closings and handled related banking transactions.

During law school, Natalie served as the Executive Note Editor for the International and Comparative Law Review and president of the Women’s Law Center.

  • Abveris

    Nutter advised Abveris (formally known as AbX Biologics, Inc.), a privately-held in vivo antibody discovery services company, in connection with its acquisition by Twist Bioscience Corporation (NASDAQ: TWST), a leading and rapidly growing synthetic biology and genomics company that has developed a disruptive DNA synthesis platform to industrialize the engineering of biology.

  • Invoke Solutions, Inc.

    Nutter served as legal counsel to Invoke Solutions, Inc., a research and content testing platform that serves many of the world's top video streaming services and broadcasters, in connection with its acquisition by MarketCast LLC.

  • iResearch

    Nutter served as legal counsel to iResearch, a leading multi-specialty clinical research center with locations in Decatur, GA and Savannah, GA, in connection with its acquisition by CenExel.
