Ken Berman, a partner and co-chair of Nutter’s Business Litigation practice group, will present on witness preparation in an American Bar Association webinar on September 5. In the webinar, “Why Smart People Give Stupid Testimony,” Ken will address how witnesses can provide effective, case-winning, and theme-supporting answers to all forms of questions, even ambiguous questions, yes/no questions, and questions that reach into faulty memories. Attendees will learn how to prepare their clients to testify more successfully and in a manner designed to build trust and credibility with the fact finder in ways that conventional preparation methods neglect and quite often undermine.
