Will Bernat and Jeremy Halpern, co-chairs of Nutter’s Emerging Companies Group and co-leads of the firm’s Food and Beverage group, will present at The Capital Network’s “Own Your Raise Bootcamp: Raising Seed Funding from Investors” event. Will will moderate the “Negotiation and Strategy: Closing the Deal with Investors” panel, which will feature a female founder and her investor on how they communicated and negotiated to close a round of investment. Jeremy’s session, “Economics of Venture Investing: Dilution and Valuation” will address the economics of investments, how to arrive at a valuation that is maximized to your startup’s benefit, and how to best mitigate the dilution impact on your ownership.

The Capital Network’s “Own Your Raise” bootcamp for early stage entrepreneurs is an intensive, interactive, full-day seminar designed to provide entrepreneurs and innovators an in-depth understanding of what it takes to raise early stage capital.
