Chris Lindstrom Discusses Federal Court Striking Down the FTC’s Non-Compete Rule in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

Chris Lindstrom, chair of Nutter’s Litigation Department and Labor, Employment, and Benefits practice group, discussed the implications of a federal judge setting aside the FTC’s non-compete rule in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. In the article, “Bar unsurprised by setting aside of FTC noncompete rule,” Chris said, “I don’t see Congress anytime soon passing a law that bans non-competes.” He added, “I could envision a law passing at the federal level that applies to minimum wage workers or workers who are on the lower end of the spectrum in terms of wages. That seems to be where a lot of the states have been going.”
